So the first one may not come off as a shock to some of you but I think that it’s really important to touch on. So a lot of people especially a lot of younger girls are not eating healthy or not eating at all.
But you need to understand that that causes hair loss and it will start to thin your hair so I think it’s really important to get those nutrients especially to eat and starving yourself is never good for your body mind and soul. It’s not good for your hair and your hair feeds off of the things that you eat.
So definitely get those nutrients and eat healthy because that is the best way to treat your hair with. And then the second thing that you are doing that is bad for your hair is just sleeping with your hair open and this will cause a lot of damage especially for your ends.
And it will get in your face and your hair will choke you especially if you have long hair with Ghd Paddle Brush. This is just bad for your hair since you’re sleeping on it and bending well. And this is just going to cause a lot of hair loss and it’s going to cause split ends.
So a protective hairstyle that you can wear is just tying it into a pretty loose braid and. Just putting that to your side and sleeping on it like that. This will protect your hair from bending and from being more dry and damaged.
Another protective and recommended hairstyle to wear while you sleep is a very loose bun. You will wake up with subtle and loose curls as well as less frizzy hair. So speaking of buns the third thing that you are doing that is bad for hair is giving your hair a very messy bun. Now I know this messy bun look is really cute and all that but it’s not good for your hair.
It damages your hair. It gets to be drier gives it that brittle look so you don’t want to give it that you want to save it from you know being damaged and split.
So instead of tie your hair in a loose and secured bun instead of a messy bun because that’s just going to damage your hair. But this is a protective hairstyle to wear during the day. All right. So the fourth thing that you are doing that is bad for hair is that shampoo bottles can make it sound so good and so healthy.
But if you read the actual ingredients if it contains sulfate and sodium chloride those ingredients are very harsh on the scalp and it’s just not the right way to go and your scalp is going to have a hard time growing your hair.
So instead try finding in shampoo that doesn’t contain sulfate or sodium chloride and that is very gentle on the scalp and on your hair to prevent it from hair loss and damage. So the last thing that you are doing that is damaging for your hair is sleeping on a cotton pillowcase.
Now cotton causes a lot more friction whereas a silk pillowcase will cause less friction which is a lot better for your hair. So switch that cotton pillowcase and trade it for a silk pillowcase because this is going to be a lot gentle for your hair and will prevent your hair from hair loss.
