Choosing the Best Way to Give
When money is involved in donating to the people in need, you have to keep in mind that giving from abundance is different from acting with abundance. You give with all our hearts and minds to the people we donate the money to. According to Mother Teresa “Do not give from your abundance. I don’t want your money. Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but the one who is in poverty, needs your hearts to love them.” the person should pour its sincerity to these people, not just giving the money on itself.
There is a famous way when it comes to charity works. It is called the four step RISE Framework. Some people have more time, some have more money; therefore, a variety of ways and means to act charitably is important, based on what charity to support on and what works for you. In this RISE practice, there are four questions to be considered when wanting to “give with a purpose” and help people make clearer decisions on where to give money for charity. First is the relevance, is the work meaningfully connected to the community that you really want in the first place? Second is the impact on the society, is the organization that you are willing to donate to are making a difference in the society you are in? Next is sustainability, is the organization financially feasible? And lastly. The excellence operation management, is the charity organization you choose built to get the job done? If all of these questions are answered, you will also have an answer on what charity to support in the Philippines.
Hence, in reality, we don’t live in a perfect world, and there’s never going to be a perfect time to give or to donate things but there are always people out there in need of help. The reality is that when you donate your money, you help others who need it. When you donate money to charity, you create opportunities to meet new people who believe in the same causes that inspire you. You can inspire people to do the same, at the same time, you help people build their future. That, and making a real impact on those causes, can infuse your everyday life with more meaning. If you’ve been stuck in a rut, whether personally or professionally, sometimes the simple act of donating cash can do the trick and reinvigorate your life. Moreover, this might not necessarily be a positive effect of charitable giving, but if you’re too busy to volunteer or otherwise donate your time, giving money is the perfect workaround. Never over think that you can’t improve someone’s life or the world itself if your personal or professional schedule won’t allow the time. There is always a way to donate or give to the people in need, if you only would have the initiative to do it.
