Does the Need to Travel Equate to the Need to be Free?
Every one of us has a life, a life that they want to live to the fullest. This life also entails a routine, a routine that we have to follow in order to live it to the fullest.
Focusing on the routine, the standard for the working class looks somewhat like this;
Getting up in the morning, getting ready for work, prepping the breakfast and lunch for yourself and the kids.
Reaching the office, doing the work for as many hours as your boss tells you, on average 8 to 10 hours a day;
Going home after work, making dinner, catching up with the family’s day and off to bed;
And one more important part of the day is the excruciating wait for the weekend. I know you love Fridays as much as me.
We might think this is boring, mundane and simply uninteresting, but we know that we are living this life. And we cannot escape it, no matter how hard we try.
That is the truth, despite being bitter and harsh.
I will use a metaphor now, a metaphor you might be able to relate to our topic at hand.
When we have a gruelling session at the gym with our train, the workout is often divided into sets, right?
So, after every set entailing 30 repetitions, there is a rest time of half a minute or so. Am I right?
Have you wondered why that is? There is only one answer, and that is to free our body of the exertion and give it time to recover.
The same must be applied to our routine. We must take it on ourselves to break the monotony and let our minds recover. And the best way to do that is to travel. Taking the instant decision to acquire payday loans, which work equally instantly, to finance your trip would be the wisest decision you will make.
I have plenty of reasons to support my claim. Let us find out what they are.
When we travel, we do New Things
Travelling to any place, be it just your grandma’s place in a different city, is bound to give you a reprieve from your monotonous daily life.
The primary reason for the same is your ability to do different and new things.
My grandparents live on a farm. Their life is vastly different from what I am used to in Manchester. It is why, whenever I need a break, I travel to their place, just outside of York. The newness of the routine in their home makes me feel refreshed and ready to battle the work wars.
I never thought waking up at 4 would be something I would like, but I loved it.
Travelling is the only hobby that never fades. You never become bored with it. There are so many places to see in this world and so many more things to do it that only your travels will allow you to do.
Have you ever tried para-gliding? You have to give it a try, maybe on your next trip that you can easily fund with provident doorstep loans.
When we travel, we leave behind our Old Life
Travelling helps you live the moment with more passion than you live the moments in your real life. It is because you know the trip would end soon and you would be back to your old ways of life, the same mundane life.
This knowledge makes you want to forget all about your life and enjoy the short break you have given yourself.
And once the break is over, you are all recharged and ready to take on the world.
It is why people who travel often are more chipper and relaxed at work than the people who do not travel at all. The latter is seen to be cranky, frustrated and sometimes even miserable.
Would you want it to be you?
When we travel, we are only devoted to Ourself
In our day to day lives, with our standard routine, we often forget to give attention to ourselves.
We focus on our professional work.
We focus on our relationships and making time for them.
We focus on our kids and their holistic upbringing.
After doing all of this, we forget to give any time to ourselves and our own need. Managing work and family drain us to the point of exhaustion that catering to our own needs becomes an afterthought that we never want to fulfil.
Travelling helps us change this fact. When we are on a trip, we only focus on the things that we want to do.
We do not have to worry about work.
We do not have to worry about the kids’ homework.
We do not have to worry about cooking the meals on time
All that we need to worry about is what we want to do on that day in the new city we have to come to visit.
Is this is not the definition of freedom? Then I must have referred to the wrong dictionary.
