Working of a Paper Bag Making Machine
Every business, irrespective of its domain, is moving towards the use of paper bags in its packaging processes. The bags not only protect the wares but also add an attractive look to them, which further helps in driving customers. You can easily find these bags in different types and personify them according to your specific business needs. The credit for the versatility of the paper bags goes to a paper bag making machine.
A paper bag machine performs the bag making process at high speed along with ensuring their optimum quality. You can find different kinds of paper bag making machines, such as paper carry bag making machine, paper shopping bag making machines, and others to seamlessly produce a diverse array of bags. You now must be curious to know how these facilitate the production process. To fuel your curiosity, we are hereby mentioning the steps involved in paper bag production.
- Paper roll feeding and folding: The process begins with feeding the paper rolls in the machine. The machine consists of a feeder roll that unwinds the film in the form of rolls into the machine. Once the film unwinds, it moves into the feed chamber.
- Forming of paper bag: The second step is the forming of paper bags. In this step, the feeder roll transfers the film into the formation stage where fabrication takes place. The film is cut and sealed as per the required dimensions, then passed through a chiller unit with several rollers. In the unit, water is sprinkled on the film to reduce the temperature (raised from the sealing process).
- Cutting: Once the sealing is done, the products are passed through cutters. The cutters have sharp blades that move vertically up and down to cut the bags in perfect dimensions.
- Gluing: After the completion of the cutting and folding process, a gluing step takes place. Here, different pieces of the bags are glued together with the help of an adhesive. The step is performed in a longitudinal and transversal manner.
- Folding ends: In this step, the paper bags are almost ready. The semi-finished bags are now passed through many rollers that press bags to ensure they stick better where required. The step also ensures that the end sections of the bags are precisely folded.
- Bottom pasting: In some types of bags, it is required to paste the bottom and top ends. In this step, the bags undergo the pasting process so that they can be used to give precise packaging to different powdered products.
- Finished products: Once all the steps mentioned above are done, the bags are moved to the stacker. The stacker brings bags together and moves them to the conveyor from where they are packed and transported to customers.
A paper bag making machine can perform the entire production process with precision. It requires minimal human intervention and ensures that the production process remains free from errors or inaccuracies that may occur. With these machines at your end, you can bring maximum return on your investment.
